These pictures were taken yesterday when Julia was three weeks and one day old. She is doing really well. She is a GREAT eater and a very good sleeper (she puts her brother to shame). The past few months have been intense. We've all been home which has thrown Lucas into a lack of schedule spiral, but at the same time it has been awfully nice having eachother around, especially for me. I have struggled with Lucas not being the only one anymore, so it is great having them both with me all the time.
We spent yesterday afternoon at the sprinkler park. It is our Rivi membership for the summer :) I packed sandwiches and we sat on a blanket and ate while we watched kiddos go nuts in the water. Lucas had a tennis lesson with Daddy while Julia and I nursed (and nursed and nursed) in the shade. Lucas LOVES having "lessons." If you call it a lesson he will go for it. He especially loves playing tennis with his Dad, and he can really wack that ball!
While our time together all day every day dwindles down I am making the most of every moment with my family. My last paycheck is coming soon so it is off to the salt mines for E for a while. I am staying home until January which is the best present my husband could possibly give me. I will go in to direct the musical in the afternoons, Julia and Lucas will go along on some days. I may never go back :)
