Gabe and Ashley had a cookout last Friday night in Franklin. We went and took the kiddos. Gabe read Lucas stories after supper in Auden's nursery. He is a natural with kids. I went to work this week for the first time without him there. It just wasn't the same. I know I'm overreacting to Gabe leaving, but at the same time there is something to be said for working and partnering with your best friend. Ever since we met in grad school Gabe and I have had a great i-hate-you-but-i-love-you-and-wouldn't-do-it-any-other-way type relationship. We had the same vision for our program at Warren and I had such fun working with him.

Awwww...thanks, dork. I will miss you too! You are going to be just fine without me and in some cases probably better. At least now you will know where everything is and you won't have to pick up after me!
