5 months old

Lucas likes to go in and "check on his sister" when she wakes up. It's very fun to watch them interact. She is 5 months old today! It's hard to believe that it has already been 5 months since that o-so-lovely labor experience. She was a big baby on her birthday and remains so today.

She was 8lbs 7oz at birth and is 19lbs today. She was induced two weeks early due to the fact that I had gestational diabetes and she was going to be GIANT if we waited. These days she is very busy. She coos and gurgles and talks to us all the time. She nurses, takes bottles, eats cereal, pears, peas, and sweet potato's.

She can roll all the way over and back. It is probably her favorite thing to to do. She just rolls around on the floor and plays with her toys and Lucas. This morning she completely rolled into him and knocked him backwards with the full force of all her weight. He hit his head on the coffee table (not hard) and I had to bite my cheek to keep from cracking up! 5 month old takes out toddler!
