And they're off. Julia Louise put on her brothers old size 10 spiderman boots by herself, pointed to the door and said, "SIDE!" Which means "outside." I promptly told Eric to suit up and take them out to play in the snow.
It only took them a few seconds to come up with this plan for revenge on the non-snow-frolikcing-mama.
Slowly they creep, step by step, cute by cute.
Until: SPLAT!!!
And yet I felt no need for revenge. The warmth of the house was all I needed on this , the first day of winter vacation.

I got a long, plastic, two kid sled to pull them around over here. I was waiting for Xmas, but given the unpredictability of Indiana winters, maybe we should inaugurate it sooner.
