Carmel Art Fair 2011

We had Lucas's parent teacher conferences this week and it went very well. He is reading and writing like a champ and he is very good at math.  He is doing multiplication and currently working on a series of stories in writers workshop called "spy dogs."  All about a series of spy dogs that hide in suitcases to get from one place to another.  Check the link to his school in the blog bar called "Kindergarten" to see the latest in his class.

Yesterday we went to Carmel and helped Daddy set up the booth for Boppa.  He and Gramma Sandy just got back from Italy last night and they went straight to work today at the fair.

Lucas quickly discovered that the back of a cargo van is the perfect place to set up a super hero head quarters.  Especially when you just got a really cool map to fold and unfold and fold again.

I took the kids to Bubs by myself while Eric and his sister worked.  It was really fun to have them all to myself for a date.  They had milkshakes with dinner.  Man were they good shakes!

We went back for the actual fair today and got to have some family time with Daddy.  We saw a magician, took pictures as leprechaun's and sumo wrestlers, and ate popcorn.  Great times were had by all.
