Lucas Turns 6

Lucas Andrews Reiberg was born May 17, 2006 at 4:45 PM.  

We took him home to our apartment at Oxford Gables where we lived for 3 years as a little family of three.

In 2008 we found out that Julia was coming.  With the help of Boppa, Sandy, Gigi, Granny, Grandad, Nana, and so many of mama and daddy's friends and students we moved into our home on Primrose in December of 2008.  That June Julia was born.

They are best of friends.  Complete with love and hate for one another at constant intervals.  They have a fierce love for each other that cannot be replaced.

Lucas feels things deeply.  He is easily moved to act.  He is smart, precocious, and full of life.

They make us laugh, cry, and sometimes want to scream but we never regret, we only move forward.  It's hard to imagine it has been 6 years already.  He will be in 1st grade come fall.  The time flies.

Lucas's answers to some important questions on his 6th Birthday:
His favorite food is cake.
His favorite color is red and blue.
He loves to read poems like "don't bump the glump."
He likes to play with Weston, Thomas, Xavier, Max and Levi.
His favorite thing at school is reading Andy Goldsworthy.
When he grows up he would like to be a hunter!
His favorite thing about his sister is the smell of her hair.
