Blankie

Above is Lucas's blanket in it's current state. It has been sewn to another blanket by moi in order to keep it together. Lucas got this blanket from our dear friend Marcella who would not let Boppa leave her house in Michigan after an art fair until his blanket was complete. Luc calls it his "Cella Blanks" and it has been with him for three years. Last week in the mail we received Julia Louise's blanket in the mail from "Mamacella" along with an assortment of wonderful gifts for both kids. Lucas got the book "Swing" by Rufus Butler Seder which, if you don't have it, is worth every red cent. He is completely obsessed with it. He reads the book to me, to the baby, to Daddy and has it at all times. Thanks to Mamacella, we are truly grateful. Now, I am exceptionally hormonal, but I cried when we got "the blankie" in the mail for Julia Louise. We won't be able to see the clan at Gintaras this year, but now everything feels complete.
