6 months old

Julia Louise turned 6 months old on the 15th of December. She is 28 1/4 inches tall and 19lbs 5 oz. She loves baby food and nursing. She is really into sweet potato's, carrots, and peas. She makes a TON of noise and it is not quiet...all the better to be heard over her brother. Julia rolls all over the place and can even push herself forward when she gets a mind too.

She has had every cold that has come through the house this last month and a half and still has the cough to prove it, but Dr. Bergstein says she is doing quite well in spite of her recent hospital stay for bronchiolitis. I have had so much joy being home with her and Lucas for the last 7 months, and while I am looking forward to returning to the classroom in January I will surely miss my lazy mornings with my children. I am so grateful that we have family joining together to help care for them. I don't think I would enjoy my job at ALL if I knew they had to go to daycare while I was there. Instead they get to spend time with all of the wonderful family around them. We are very fortunate indeed.
