Well long time no blog but we are back! I love this picture, I think they look like they are too cool for school man. Lately things have been crazy around here. I went straight back to 12 hour days at work for the first few days back. Eric was working as well and has officially been hired as the stage manager/tech director at Broad Ripple High School so his schedule is about to change quite a bit.
Julia is quite the sitting girl now. She is over her ear infection and doing quite well. Looking pretty in pink, talking up a storm, making lots of moves towards crawling, and eating and sleeping like a champ. Lucas is back at school and having a very good time. His "Boppa Dumbledore" has been picking up "Lucas Potter" and taking him to Hogwarts on Thursdays and Fridays while "Magic Cook" stays behind with JL (Sandy:). My Mom takes him on Tuesdays and to gymnastics on Wednesdays. He was cranky about the change for about 2 seconds. He is over it now.
Julia is a great smiler, and her hemangioma is hardly noticeable at all now, at least to me. I was so worried about it in the beginning, and it could still grow, but for the most part I hardly think about it at all. She does suck on it a lot which is just plain hilarious. Her favorite toy by far is a plastic whale spoon, which you can see in her hands above. Julia LOVES whalespoon! Last night she was clutching it in her tiny hand while I nursed her to sleep.
Lucas is just Lucas. Full of great questions and things to say. He and his Daddy went to a basketball game last night at Broad Ripple and he had a really great time. He is very tired this morning after being up late, but the experience was definitely worth it. Right now he is singing about his favorite word, "I want pooopie, I want pooopie...on your head." great.

so glad you're back blogging! i was thinkin' about you a lot and wondering what you're up to. my friend devon's daughter had 3 hemangiomas at birth, and they have all resolved completely on their own. julia is beautiful, and her smile is just too adorable for words!!! she is sitting up great- blythe is getting there...JL needs to teach her some lessons! ;-)
I love that she loves her whalespoon, how cute! And I love that Lucas loves to say poopie, c'mon its funny!
They look tough as hell in that first shot! Maria has a birthmark too and it is getting lighter, but sometimes I forget who has it and I look at Veronica and think 'hey it disappeared!' and then I remember, wrong baby. Ha! She looks great sitting up - her friend Veronica is just now trying it out and falling over a LOT. I hope it's going well being back at it.
