In her brothers shoes at Boppa's house. She is really into shoes lately.
Lucas received this dress up outfit from a friend at work. As much as I had hoped to avoid all things gun and violence related I have found it to be a fruitless effort. He is a boy through and through and he LOVES to play "soldier." He goes out in the woods in the back yard and talks into the pretend headset to "soldier 2" (Julia) and has great adventures. He LOVES it.
Meanwhile she sits with me on the porch talking to the birdies and playing. We watch him frolic and keep busy with marbles and dancin'. She is started to get fabulous little red curls at the back of her head. Simply divine.
Being a soldier is very serious work. There is no smiling for the camera.
But he's still my little boy. Even if he is big.
